Crochet Button Flowers

These flowers are worked similarly to a granny square.

What you need:

• worsted weight yarn
• size E crochet hook (you can go up or down a size)
• button
• sewing needle

How to make these:

1. Starting with a slip knot, ch 5.
2. sc or sl st to form a ring.
3. ch 2, dc into ring 7 times.
4. sc between ch2 and first dc.
5. ch 2, 3 dc into gap between first & second dc, sc between second & third dc.
6.  Repeat step #5 three times. You should have four petals.
7. Finish and sew a button in the center using either thread or yarn. Sew in ends
